About Radhi-Krishna
Radhi-Krishna - a form of God in Hinduism, the worship which is characteristic of krishnaizma. In this way, God appears as the divine couple, the male and female hypostasis: Krishna and his beloved Radhi. In the Gaudi-vayshnavskom theology Krishna is the original hypostasis of God (svayam-bhagavan), while Radhi - as his undying love girl shepherdess gopi. In relation to Krishna, Radhi is regarded as the supreme goddess, the controlling power of the love of Krishna explains that Krishna is so beautiful, that conquers the whole world for its beauty, but Radhi charms, even his, and therefore took a more sublime situation.
Although there are much earlier reference to this form of God, the theme of divine love between Krishna and dedicated it to Radhi was one of the favorite throughout India in the XII century, in times orisskogo poet and saint Dzhayadevy, after he wrote his famous poem "Gita Govinda". In "Srimad-Bhagavatam" describes how Krishna had left all the other gopi in dance race and went in search of Radhi. According to the school in the Chaitanya krishnaizme, name and personality Radhi both manifest and hidden in the text "Srimad-Bhagavatam", describes the event. The followers of this school, as well as some other traditions vayshnavizma, Radhi consider not just the girl-shepherdess, but original female hypostasis of God, the source of all the gopi involved in dance and other race faces.
